Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada is seeking experienced Scoop Operators for its underground mine construction project in Northwest Ontario. This fly-in/fly-out role offers a 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out schedule with camp accommodations provided. Responsibilities

Scoop Operators play a critical role in underground mining by operating heavy equipment to load, haul, and dump materials efficiently and safely.

  • Operate scoop trams in underground mining environments
  • Transport blasted rock or ore to designated areas
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance
  • Comply with all safety standards and procedures

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Underground mining experience required
  • Ontario Common Core considered an asset
  • Physically capable of underground work
  • Willing to work varied schedules
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
