ATCO Frontec is seeking a Sandwich/Salad Maker to support its kitchen operations at a remote camp in Whitehorse, Yukon. This position is part of a rotational schedule of 28 days on and 14 days off, working 12-hour shifts. The successful candidate will contribute to daily food service preparation and execution, focusing on fresh and well-presented sandwiches and salads while maintaining safe kitchen practices.

The Sandwich/Salad Maker is responsible for assisting with kitchen operations and preparing daily food items. Duties include:
- Supporting daily kitchen operations and tasks
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Attending daily prep meetings with the Chef
- Preparing, storing, and serving sandwiches and salads according to kitchen needs
- Ensuring proper food rotation and sanitation standards
- Inspecting kitchen equipment and food items regularly
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid food safety certificate
- At least 1 year of experience in a hotel or restaurant as a Sandwich/Salad Maker
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Works well under pressure
