Centerra Gold is hiring a full-time Coordinator, Parts & Material for its Mount Milligan Mine in British Columbia. This camp-based role operates on a 7x7 schedule and is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials to support maintenance operations. Ideal candidates have experience in millwright or electrical trades, materials coordination, and maintenance planning. Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Parts & Material ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of parts for maintenance operations at Mount Milligan.

  • Plan and coordinate delivery of materials and spare parts for scheduled maintenance
  • Review work packages to ensure materials meet technical specifications
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and maintenance personnel
  • Prepare picking slips and ensure kits are assembled and delivered on time
  • Manage logistics including expediting shipments or sourcing alternatives
  • Monitor material usage trends and minimize spare parts costs
  • Support shutdown operations by returning unused spares and maintaining staging areas
  • Collaborate with planning teams to refine parts BOMs and improve workflows

Requirements

Applicants must have strong technical and organizational experience in maintenance, materials management, and coordination roles.

  • Minimum 5 years of Millwright or Electrical trades experience
  • 2+ years in maintenance planning preferred
  • Experience with parts/warehousing and mill maintenance operations
  • Project management experience or training is highly desirable
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to coordinate complex logistics and collaborate across departments

Located approximately 155 kilometers northwest of Prince George in central British Columbia, Canada, the Mount Milligan Mine is a conventional truck-shovel open-pit operation producing both copper and gold. The mine features a 60,000-tonne-per-day capacity copper flotation processing plant. In February 2024, Centerra Gold announced an agreement with Royal Gold to extend the mine's life to 2035, with plans to further increase its longevity through ongoing exploration and development.
