Burgundy Diamond Mines is seeking a Superintendent, Mobile Maintenance for its Ekati Diamond Mine in Northwest Territories, Canada. This full-time role follows a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation and involves overseeing mobile equipment maintenance, budget management, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will lead a maintenance team, manage long-term equipment maintenance programs, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards. Camp accommodations and flights from Calgary, Yellowknife, and northern locations are provided.

The Superintendent, Mobile Maintenance will oversee the maintenance strategy for mobile equipment and ensure operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Promote and enforce safe work practices within the maintenance team.
- Lead and coach team members to achieve performance targets.
- Manage 2-year and 5-year maintenance programs aligned with business goals.
- Oversee capital and operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and manage variances.
- Supervise contract creation and modifications.
- Ensure adherence to Work Management RASI charts and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Approve life cycle analysis recommendations for mobile equipment.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Implement risk management strategies and quality management practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in mobile maintenance and leadership within an industrial or mining environment. Requirements include:
- Ticketed Journeyman or Degree in Engineering.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of related industry experience, including 5+ years in maintenance planning.
- Strong understanding of equipment reliability concepts.
- Experience with risk management strategies and quality management practices.
- Working knowledge of SAP and proficiency in computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in mining, particularly in northern Canada, is preferred.
