ATCO Frontec is hiring a General Kitchen Helper for its remote camp at Nisutlin Bay Bridge Lodge in Teslin, Yukon. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced camp environment, contributing to efficient food service operations while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Camp accommodations and meals are provided during work shifts.

Responsibilities
The General Kitchen Helper supports kitchen operations by ensuring food preparation and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Work safely with all kitchen equipment.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including vegetable and snack preparation.
- Clean kitchen, general equipment, and facility areas such as tables and floors.
- Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ensure workstations are manned and fully stocked.
- Follow Health, Safety, and Environment Management System requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen or camp setting with strong teamwork skills.
- Valid Food Safe Certificate required.
- Experience working in a camp, kitchen, or restaurant environment is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with or without supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a pre-employment alcohol and drug test.
