Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada is hiring experienced Journeyperson Mechanics for an underground mining project in Northwest Ontario. This fly-in/fly-out role follows a 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out schedule and includes full camp accommodations. Journeyperson Mechanics will support underground operations by maintaining and repairing mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Inspect, service, and repair underground mining equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain safety and environmental standards
- Keep detailed maintenance records
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Previous underground mining experience
- Ontario Common Core is an asset
- Physically fit for underground work
- Flexible with work schedules
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
