Dozer Operator - Suncor Base Pant - Drive In/Out - 14x14 Rotations
NACG is seeking experienced Dozer Operators to join the team at the Suncor site in Fort McMurray. Operators will be responsible for operating various sizes and models of dozers in a mining environment. This role follows a 14x14 schedule with no camp accommodations. Bussing is provided from Fort McMurray to the site. Overtime is provided after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week.

The Dozer Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining dozers in a mining environment.
- Operate various sizes and models of dozers as required
- Read stakes and place a grade as needed
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Use appropriate safety equipment, including PPE
- Conduct safe work plans and hazard assessments before starting work
- Complete equipment walk-arounds, safety checks, and field-level risk assessments
- Report any necessary or anticipated repairs to supervisors
- Report all incidents, near misses, or damage immediately
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience operating D8 to D10 dozers or larger
- Previous experience operating on muskeg/soft ground
- Minimum one year of mining experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions for safe equipment operation
- A safety-first attitude
- Strong listening and communication skills
- High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education (preferred)
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Valid CSO or BSO certification
- Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness, and H2S Awareness
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
