ATCO Frontec is hiring a Baker's Assistant for the Eagle Gold Mine in Whitehorse, YT. This role involves preparing and packaging baked goods while ensuring quality standards and cost control. The position follows a 28 days on, 14 days off rotation with 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in a baking environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Camp accommodations are provided.

The Baker's Assistant is responsible for preparing baked goods and maintaining quality standards in a remote camp setting.
- Meet daily with the Chef to discuss menu preparation and production strategy.
- Prepare all baked goods for menu items and catered events.
- Ensure all baked products meet high-quality standards while controlling costs.
- Produce the correct amount of products to minimize waste.
- Follow all safety procedures and health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have baking experience, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Valid Food Safe Certificate required.
- 5 years of experience in a baking environment is considered an asset.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with little supervision.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Final candidates must pass a criminal record check and drug & alcohol test.
