Kica Contracting Ltd. is a 100% Tahltan-owned business based in British Columbia, Canada. Founded by Kimberley Marion, the company addresses the lack of Indigenous employment opportunities in the resource sector. Starting with a small catering operation, Kica has grown into a thriving enterprise, employing over 100 people and servicing up to eight camps, with 85% of its workforce composed of Tahltan staff. In 2024, Kica Contracting Ltd. was honored with the Indigenous Business Award, recognizing its significant contributions to Indigenous employment and community development.
