As a remote camp shuttle bus driver, you are responsible for,

  • Safely drive company shuttle buses to transport workers from the camp to the worksite and back.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including log sheets, dispatch sheets, DVIRs, and FLRAs.
  • Promptly report any vehicle problems to dispatchers or company mechanics.
  • Utilize company equipment, such as radios, to communicate with dispatchers for updates and passenger information.
  • Uphold the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and suppliers.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and maintained in a safe condition.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements for Camp Bus Drivers

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial shuttle bus driving experience or 5 years of heavy trucking experience required.
  • Valid Class 2 license with air brakes or Class 1 license and a clean driving record.
  • Required certifications include CSTS, First Aid, and OSSA.
  • Ability to understand and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and oral.

The pay for the camp shuttle bus drivers in Fort McMurray is $27.60-$30.91 per hour depending on your prior experience. The work rotation is 14 days on and 7 days off.
