A major recruitment campaign is underway for remote camp jobs at the Site C Dam in British Columbia. The CMAW Carpenters Union Local is seeking over 40 carpenters, as well as scaffolders and labourers, for the BC Hydro Site C Clean Energy Project in Fort St. John. Competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits are being offered to qualified candidates.

Remote camp fly in and fly out jobs in British Columbia at Site C Dam site. 40+ carpenters needed for a project at BC Hydro Site C Clean Energy Project in Fort St. John, BC. Other positions include scaffolders and labourers.

This hiring is through CMAW Carpenters Union Local. Pay rates will be depended up on your experience and Red Seal Ticketed carpenters earning $47.02/hr. Night shift has a $1.75 premium.

Carpenters who are not ticketed must be able to prove 10,000 hours of carpentry related experience. Apprentice Carpenters, level 3 and 4, must have registered with the ITA. Industrial leading Benefits and Pension are paid for by the employer.

Work rotations is 14 days on and 7 days off. Remote camp accommodations including meals and lodging along with flights provided from following cities.

  • Vancouver
  • Nanaimo
  • Kelowna
  • Prince George
  • Calgary
  • Edmonton

Requirements include,

  • Must be Physically Fit
  • Be able to work rotating day and night shift
  • Drug and Alcohol test required
  • Must have valid ID and email address
  • Must be fully vaccinated
