The Phoenix Group of Companies is a world-class industrial contractor based in Alberta since 1995 providing products and services to oil and gas, power management, and energy sector in Western Canada. They have offices and manufacturing facilities located in Fort McMurray, Whitecourt, Nisku, and Kitimat.
Currently they are looking for Ironworkers, Steamfitters, and Pipefitters for an oilsands project just north of Fort McMurray in Alberta. There are 100 job positions need to be filled. All include remote camp accommodations and fly in and fly out transportation to Fort McMurray, AB. Flight travel assistance available for travelers living outside of Alberta as well.

Requirements
Journeyman Steamfitters and Pipefitters
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Alberta Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyman or Red Seal Certification
- CSTS-09 / WHMIS 2015 / H2S Alive / ESC Fall Protection
- Physically capable of performing all tasks required of a Steamfitter/Pipefitter
- Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
Journeyman Ironworkers
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Alberta Ironworker Journeyman or Red Seal Certification
- Owns personal hand tools
- CSTS-09 / WHMIS 2015 / H2S Alive
- Valid Fall Protection Certificate
- Physically capable of performing all tasks required in the Ironworking trade
- Invested in a safety-oriented work environment

- Currently Days and Nights
- 6/1 shift and then 24/4 shift
- 11.5 Hours per day
Journeyman Ironworkers
- Competitive Compensation packages Employee Rate $48.85/hr
- Subcontractor $56.24/hr
- 11.5 hour days
- 1.5 months of work
