Mining Tire Technician

As a Mining Tire Technician, you will work a scheduled shift at a local mine in British Columbia, performing various tire services for a range of vehicles including heavy equipment. Your responsibilities will include tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repair, along with maintaining comprehensive tire reports and coordinating tire rotations to maximize performance. Safety will be a top priority, and you will participate in all safety initiatives to ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements

1. Successful completion of pre-access drug test
2. 1+ years of tire service experience, including various tire types
3. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
4. Valid Class 5 driver's license
5. Ability to lift 25+ kilograms
6. Willingness to travel to remote locations on a scheduled shift and work in all weather conditions
7. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
8. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Driver's Abstract from province of residence
