The Lac Des Iles mine in Northern Ontario is actively seeking to fill numerous underground and surface mining positions as well as roles for cooks. These remote camp jobs come with two-week work rotations, accommodations, and travel allowances to nearby Thunder Bay. The mine, one of Canada's largest underground operations, boasts significant production capabilities and is looking to enhance its workforce.

The Lac Des Iles mine is hiring for all underground and surface mining job positions mentioned below along with cooks. Many of these positions are remote camp jobs on two-week work rotations with camp accommodations (meals and lodging) and travel allowance to Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The Lac Des Iles mine is consist of both an open-pit and underground mining operations located in Northern Ontario. It is one of the largest underground mines in Canada. The mine is located 85km from Thunder Bay in Ontario, Canada. The Lac Des Iles mine made of Roby zone and the offset zone and extends over 86.4km� of mineral claims and leases.

The Lac Des Iles mine was previously owned and operated by North American Palladium. It was acquired by Impala Platinum in 2019.

Most importantly, the mine life of The Lac Des Iles mine was extended until 2027 with average underground production of 12,000 tons per day (tpd) and 40.9 million tons (Mt) of underground and surface reserves.
