- Salary: $1,920.00 per week for Industrial Cleaners and $2,074.60 per week for 2nd Cooks

Lac Des Iles Mine
Join the Lac Des Iles Mine team at their 700-person mining camp located approximately 2 hours from Thunder Bay. Located 85km from Thunder Bay in Ontario, Canada, Lac Des Iles Mine is an open-pit and underground operation comprising the Roby zone and the offset zone.
Covering 86.4km� of mineral claims and leases, the mine began open-pit mining in 1993 and expanded to underground mining in 2004 to access higher-grade portions of the Roby Zone. Previously owned by North American Palladium, the mine was acquired by Impala Platinum in 2019.
Cleaning Responsibilities:
- Clean crew cabins and common areas as per the schedule.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all facilities, ensuring the use of correct PPE and adherence to WHMIS procedures.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, manage waste disposal, and ensure all areas are sanitary.
Culinary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Cook in preparing meals and maintaining kitchen sanitation.
- Perform daily food safety checks and ensure all food handling practices meet HACCP standards.
- Support night hour preparations of a variety of foods including meats, vegetables, and pastries.
- Manage inventory, receive deliveries, and maintain proper storage of food items.
You must be capable of working long periods, including weekends and holidays, under physically demanding conditions such as walking, bending, and reaching in a remote camp setting for two weeks at a time.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- At least 5 years experience in restaurant or hotel operations, or a related field.
- Food Safety Certification and valid WHMIS certificate.
- Valid Full G driver's license for transport duties.
- Proven ability to promote a positive safety culture and maintain a professional demeanor.
