Remote camp mining job opportunities are now available in Quebec and Labrador, offering positions for heavy equipment operators, haul truck drivers, and labourers. With various work rotations and full accommodations provided, successful candidates will work in active open-pit iron ore mines, facing challenging conditions and shifts of up to 12 hours.

Fly-in and fly-out remote camp mining jobs are available in Quebec and Labrador iron ore mining projects. Applications are now being accepted for heavy equipment operators, haul truck drivers, and labourers. While labourers are needed immediately, heavy equipment operators and haul truck drivers are scheduled to commence work in June for contracts lasting 4-6 months. You must be able to work 12-hour day and night shifts for 14 to 21 days at a time and in remote environments and harsh weather conditions

The main pick-up points for transportation to the mine site include:

  • Gander, NL
  • Deer Lake, NL
  • Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL
  • Wabush, NL
  • Halifax, NS
  • Moncton, NB
  • Montreal, QC

The work rotation entails 14 days on and 14 days off, with full remote camp accommodations provided, including meals and lodging. The schedule consists of 12 hours per day, traveling to and from the Menihek region in Labrador, near the town of Schefferville, QC.

  1. Heavy Equipment Operators and Haul Truck Drivers: Operate a variety of equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, and haul trucks to support mine and processing operations in active open-pit iron ore mines.
  2. Labourers: Assist the mining team by carrying out dewatering tasks, adhering to safety procedures, handling tools and supplies, cleaning work areas and equipment, and supporting team members in various mining operations.
