This is a three week camp rotation as of now which could revert back to general two week rotations after Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
Diavik Diamond Mine is located deep in the Northwest Territory of Canada about 300 km northeast of Yellowknife. This is a high grade diamond mine which is about 20 square kilometers island which sits under the waters of Lac de Gras. Due to its extreme location, mining jobs at Diavik Diamond Mine in Northwest Territories are fly in and fly out based.

Underground Miner - Entry Level UG Haul Truck Operator
Rio Tinto is looking for entry level underground miners to operate their haul trucks. Following requirements are set by Rio Tinto for this role.
- Driver's License
- Prior Heavy Equipment Operators courses taken considered as an asset
- Prior experience in equipment operation or any college diploma (unrelated)
- Strong safety minded
- Must be able to work in an underground mine
- Proficiency in reading and understanding directions, manuals, and instructions
- Must be able to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team
