Are you a heavy equipment operator or entry level plumber looking for work with remote camp accommodations (meals and lodging) and fly in and fly out transportation? Bouchier is looking for heavy equipment operators and firewater technicians for a special project at CNRL (Canadian Natural Resources Limited) in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Bouchier is a private indigenous-owned company located in Fort McKay, Alberta in the heart of Alberta's Athabasca oil sands. They provide civil construction and maintenance, facility construction and maintenance, and project management for oil and gas companies in Canada. They have over 850 employees and over 350 equipment/vehicles in their fleet.

Currently they are looking for heavy equipment operators and firewater technicians to fill vacancy for a special project at CNRL. Remote camp accommodations including meals and lodging. Fly in and fly out transportation available with your weekly work rotation.

Heavy Equipment Operator

Education and Experience Required

  • 2-5 Years' Heavy Equipment GPS operating system experience
  • Valid Class 5
  • Valid Class 1, 3 preferred
  • Ability to lift and pull up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in all weather
  • Ability to work shift work
  • Safety conscious attitude
  • CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation or OSSA BSO (Basic Safety Orientation before December 31, 2018) or CSO (Common Safety Orientation after January 1, 2019)
  • WHMIS 2015
  • TDG - Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • OSSA Confined Space Entry and Monitor
  • Ground Disturbance
  • First Aid
  • H2S Alive
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol and a Fit for Duty Test
  • All applicants must have the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English

Firewater Technician - Apprentice Plumber

Education and Experience Required

  • Must be a registered apprentice with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training
  • Some high school or High School Diploma preferred
  • Some experience preferred and previous oil industry experience would be a benefit
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation or OSSA BSO (Basic Safety Orientation before December 31, 2018) or CSO (Common Safety Orientation after January 1, 2019)
  • WHMIS 2015
  • OSSA Confined Space Entry and Monitor
  • First Aid
  • Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities
  • Physical stamina required to use proper lifting techniques for heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kilograms, Stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time, sometimes work in cramped positions
  • Safety conscious attitude
  • Ability to work well with co-workers and deal with customers
  • Ability to get along well with others on a work team
  • All applicants must have the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
