This is an excellent opportunity for equipment operators, including Utility Operators, Pressure and Vac Operators, and Telehandler/Zoom Boom Operators, as well as Maintenance Labourers. 7 days on, 7 days off work rotations with fly-in, fly-out transportation and remote camp accommodations.

CNRL is one of Canada's largest independent crude oil and natural gas producers operates across various segments of the energy industry, including oil sands, conventional oil, natural gas, and international oil and gas projects. CNRL owns and operates significant oil sands mining and upgrading projects, such as Horizon Oil Sands, Athabasca Oil Sands, and Albian Sands, which produce synthetic crude oil from bitumen.

Class 1 or 3 - Utility Equipment Operators

These operators are responsible for managing a range of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and graders, to support roads and grounds projects. Operators will perform finish grading operations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring project specifications are met effectively.

Mining Shovel Maintenance Labourer and Operators

This role involves cleaning the car body, rev frame, boom, and housing of mining shovels. Labourers work in tight spaces and greasy environments, using air-actuated tools, hand tools, and various cleaning supplies to prepare areas for inspection or repairs.

Operators will also manage steam trucks for pressure washing different components, operate support equipment such as aerial work platforms, forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, tractors, and light vehicles, and drive within the mine to perform various tasks or deliver supplies.

Pressure and Vac Operators (Class 1 or 3)

Operators in this role are responsible for operating a range of units, including Water Trucks, Straight Vacuum, Hydro-Vac, and Combo Units, to meet client needs at an oil sands location. Duties also include cleaning and maintaining the units and associated equipment, as well as troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure smooth operations.

Telehandler/Zoom Boom Operators

Telehandler/Zoom Boom Operators are tasked with operating designated equipment efficiently and safely. They are also responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of all equipment under their control, ensuring it is ready for use at all times.

Class 5 - General Utility Equipment Operators

General Utility Equipment Operators manage various heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and graders, to support road and ground projects. They will be expected to perform finish grading operations with a high level of precision and detail, ensuring the highest standards are maintained throughout the project.
