Building an advanced transit infrastructure in Ottawa, Ontario.

Ottawa's Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, known as the O-Train, has undergone significant expansion to improve public transportation across the city. Stage 2 of the LRT project aims to extend the network further south, east, and west, bringing 77% of residents within five kilometers of rail. This phase includes extending Line 2 South to Limebank and Airport Stations, stretching Line 1 East through Orlans to Trim Station, expanding Line 1 West to Algonquin Station, and adding the new Line 3 to Moodie Station. Construction is underway, with design efforts advancing across all three extensions, and the city has finalized connectivity enhancements to integrate key local pedestrian and cyclist networks into the LRT alignment.
