Minto Mine
Contribute to Minto Mine's mining operations with roles in extraction, maintenance, and technical support services.

Minto Mine is a copper and gold mining operation located in Yukon.
The Minto Mine, located approximately 240 kilometers north of Whitehorse in Yukon, Canada, is a copper-gold mining operation that began production in 2007. Over the years, it has changed ownership multiple times, with Minto Metals Corp. being the most recent operator. In May 2023, Minto Metals abruptly ceased operations and abandoned the site, leading the Yukon government to assume control for environmental protection and remediation efforts. In September 2024, the Selkirk First Nation, on whose traditional territory the mine is situated, received court approval to acquire the mine's assets, marking a significant step toward potentially becoming the first fully Indigenous-owned mining operation in Canada.
