Truck and Trailer Mechanic - Remote Projects - 4/4 5/2 or 4/3 Rotation

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $87,900 to $110,500 annually for journeymen, with apprentices paid on a graduated scale according to schooling progress. Responsibilities
Mechanics and apprentices perform skilled maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and mobile equipment within a well-equipped shop environment.
- Provide routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and loaders.
- Inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Perform mechanical repairs in shop and on road calls as needed.
- Diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment.
- Perform incidental welding repairs.
- Operate automotive servicing equipment such as A/C recyclers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of repair technologies and techniques.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following to perform effectively in this role:
- Completion of 3rd or 4th year mechanic apprentice program.
- Clean driver's abstract with no suspensions.
- Proven skills in hydraulics and electrical systems including schematics and diagnostics.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Positive attitude and strong safety mindset.
- Effective interpersonal skills for diverse work environments.
- Ability to work professionally and under pressure.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- At least two job references.
