Responsibilities

The Tool Crib Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting mine maintenance by managing tool inventory and distribution efficiently and accurately. Key duties include:

  • Issuing tools as required to maintenance staff
  • Maintaining accurate records of tools taken and returned
  • Identifying broken tools and repairing or arranging repairs
  • Replacing missing tools
  • Organizing and putting parts away in proper locations
  • Ensuring the parts room is clean and well-organized

Requirements
