Kitikmeot Camp Solutions is seeking a Sandwich Maker to join the culinary team at a remote camp facility in Nunavut. Working night shifts, this role is responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and specialty items for the camp's bagged lunch program. The position follows a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, with flights provided from Edmonton. Full camp accommodations, including private rooms, meals, Wi-Fi, and access to common areas, are included.

Responsibilities
The Sandwich Maker is responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality sandwich items for the bagged lunch program in a remote camp setting.
- Maintain a safe and clean workstation throughout the shift.
- Prepare hot and cold sandwich items as per daily production requirements.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including HACCP compliance.
- Complete production logs and accurately label all prepared food items.
- Store all supplies properly and assist in receiving shipments.
- Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal.
- Assist with any additional food preparation tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience in large-scale food preparation and the ability to work in a physically demanding remote camp environment.
- Current Food Safe certification (required).
- Experience in large-scale cooking, banquet halls, or camp settings (preferred).
- Previous experience in a mass-production sandwich maker role (preferred).
- Ability to commit to a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
