The Salad & Sandwich Maker prepares fresh meals in a high-volume camp kitchen setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing salad bar items and portioning basic foods
- Creating made-to-order and specialty sandwiches
- Producing large quantities of salads and sandwiches efficiently
- Stocking food areas with attention to quality and waste control
- Safely operating equipment like meat slicers and knives
- Managing food preparation, storage, rotation, and serving
- Assisting with general kitchen duties as needed
- Ensuring sanitation and safety procedures are followed
- Providing courteous and professional service
- Following all Health, Safety and Environment Management protocols
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Valid food safety certificate
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Sandwich/Salad Maker in the hotel or restaurant industry
