Responsibilities
As a Rock Truck Operator, you will contribute to heavy civil projects by safely operating a 40-ton haul truck and ensuring efficient material transport on-site.
- Operate a 40T rock truck to haul and dump materials.
- Perform pre-operational equipment inspections (tires, fluids, brakes, etc.).
- Smooth operation of machine controls during hauling tasks.
- Adhere to project safety guidelines and standard work procedures.
- Support a strong safety culture using PPE and safe practices.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria for the Rock Truck Operator position:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating 40-ton rock trucks in civil construction, mining, or oilfield environments.
- Required (or willing to obtain): CSTS-09, OSSA/BSO/CSO, H2S Alive or Awareness, Intermediate First Aid, Bear Awareness.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and shovel out equipment tracks when needed.
- CSA-approved 6" lace-up steel-toe boots required.
- Pre-employment alcohol, drug, and fit-for-work testing is mandatory.
