Rig Welder - Oilfield Construction Maintenance - Monday to Friday 10 Hour Days

FLINT is hiring experienced Journeyperson Rig Welders for a temporary project based in Burnaby, British Columbia, beginning in August. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule with 10-hour shifts and a high pay rate of $105/hour. Benefits are available after 300 hours worked. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience, possess a valid welding ticket, and operate a fully equipped and insured welding truck. As this position does not include camp, travel, or living allowances, it is best suited for local applicants or those willing to relocate at their own expense. Responsibilities

As a Rig Welder, you will provide high-quality field welding services for industrial construction and maintenance operations.

  • Perform rig welding on piping and structural components
  • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures
  • Operate and maintain your fully equipped welding truck
  • Ensure compliance with job specifications and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members and site supervisors
  • Work Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts on-site in Burnaby

Requirements

Qualified candidates must meet certification, equipment, and safety standards to perform in demanding industrial field conditions.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Rig Welder
  • Valid Journeyperson Welder certification
  • Fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance
  • Valid CSTS-2020, CSO, and WHMIS certifications
  • Physically fit to perform demanding fieldwork
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
