Rig Welder - Oilfield Construction Maintenance - LOA 14x14 Rotation
FLINT is hiring Journeyperson Rig Welders for a 6-week temporary project in Regina, Saskatchewan, beginning in June 2025. This opportunity focuses on structural and process piping, offering a 14/14 rotation schedule, Living-Out Allowance, and Mobilization/Demobilization pay for candidates located more than 150 km from the site. Applicants must have at least five years of experience working with carbon and stainless steel piping systems, a valid Journeyperson Welder certificate, and hold B-Pressure and CWB welding tickets. A fully equipped and insured welding truck is also required. Benefits are available after 300 hours worked. This project is ideal for both local and non-local skilled welders ready to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
As a Rig Welder, you will support critical piping and structural welding tasks, ensuring project integrity and code compliance.
- Weld and assemble structural and process piping systems (carbon and stainless steel)
- Perform bolt-up assembly, gluing, and hydro testing of piping systems
- Modify and fabricate structural steel components
- Use and maintain a fully equipped welding truck on-site
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, specs, and procedures
- Work safely in diverse jobsite and environmental conditions
Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet trade certification and safety requirements and possess the tools and experience for on-site rig welding.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in structural and process piping welding
- Valid Journeyperson Welder certification
- B-Pressure and CWB welding tickets (mandatory)
- Experience with bolt-up, gluing, hydro testing, and fabrication
- Valid CSTS-2020, WHMIS, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform
- Fully equipped welding truck with current registration and insurance
- Physically fit for demanding site tasks
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
