Candidates must have at least one year of experience in railcar loading or offloading and be proficient with computers, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. This position does not include camp accommodations or travel allowances, making it most suitable for local applicants. Benefits are available after 300 hours worked. Responsibilities
As a Railcar Offloader, you will be responsible for safely offloading materials, managing documentation, and supporting operations on-site.
- Perform safe and efficient railcar offloading procedures
- Operate equipment as required for unloading and material handling
- Use Outlook and Microsoft Office applications for documentation
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Lift, push, pull, and perform physically demanding tasks
Requirements
Applicants must meet technical and physical qualifications and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 1 year of railcar loading/offloading experience
- Proficient with computers, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Valid CSTS-2020, Fall Protection, and WHMIS certifications
- Strong understanding of operational safety and troubleshooting
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in all weather
- Strong English skills (written and verbal)
- Must have reliable transportation to the Calgary worksite
