Responsibilities

The Pump Operator will manage and maintain electric and diesel pumps, supporting tailings cell operations at Fort McMurray.

  • Operate and maintain electric and diesel pumps.
  • Perform ground work related to tailings cell construction and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient site operations.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for this safety-sensitive role.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in pump operations and tailings cell construction.
  • Mandatory safety tickets including CSO.
  • Any heavy equipment experience considered an asset.
  • Physically able to perform demanding tasks in varied conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean 5-year driver's abstract having under 9 demerits.
  • Drug and alcohol testing required.
