FLINT is currently hiring Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters for a temporary role in Cold Lake, Alberta, starting June 10th, 2025. This local position follows a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour workdays and includes benefits eligibility after 300 hours worked. With over a century of experience building critical infrastructure across Canada, FLINT seeks pipefitters with at least 3 years of industrial experience and valid steamfitter-pipefitter certification. Local candidates are preferred, as the role does not provide camp accommodations, travel, or living out allowance. Join FLINT's team of industrial pipefitters to support infrastructure builds and maintenance across the Cold Lake region.
- Install and maintain piping systems in accordance with industry and site specifications
- Interpret drawings and plans to complete accurate installations
- Ensure proper fit, assembly, and alignment of piping systems
- Work safely under various environmental and site conditions
- Collaborate with crew and supervisors to maintain productivity and quality
Requirements
Applicants must meet trade certification and safety requirements and be physically capable of performing site-based tasks.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial setting
- Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate
- Valid CSTS-2020 safety ticket
- Physically fit for demanding job duties in various weather conditions
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Own reliable transportation to job site in Cold Lake
