Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Pipefitter, you will support the installation and maintenance of industrial piping systems in a permanent role.

  • Assist with layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems
  • Support testing and repair of pipe systems as required
  • Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications
  • Follow safety protocols and site procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors
  • Work Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts on-site in Pincher Creek

Requirements

Candidates must have foundational pipefitting experience and safety certifications to perform physical tasks in a dynamic industrial environment.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pipefitting
  • Valid Apprentice or Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification
  • Valid CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, and WHMIS tickets
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Valid driver's license and clean 5-year driver's abstract (under 6 demerits)
  • Reliable transportation to the Pincher Creek site
