Responsibilities
As a Pipefitter, you will perform industrial piping tasks with accuracy and efficiency, supporting construction and maintenance operations.
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems
- Read and interpret piping isometrics, blueprints, and specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles
- Test piping systems for leaks and integrity
- Ensure all work meets code requirements and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other trades and supervisors on-site
Requirements
Applicants must have strong trade experience and valid certifications to work in an industrial construction setting.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Pipefitter
- Valid Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification
- Valid CSTS-2020, CSO, and WHMIS tickets
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks
- Proficient in English, written and verbal
- Must have reliable transportation to the Burnaby site
