Responsibilities

As an Overlay Operator, you'll contribute to industrial maintenance by operating specialized equipment and supporting surface treatment processes.

  • Operate overlay machine to apply surface coatings and materials
  • Perform welding and/or sandblasting tasks as required
  • Support general labour duties across the jobsite
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper operating conditions
  • Follow all safety guidelines and site procedures
  • Complete physical work tasks in various environmental conditions

Requirements

Applicants must have hands-on labour and machine operating experience, safety certifications, and physical fitness for site work.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a labourer
  • Experience operating overlay machine, welding, or sandblasting
  • Valid CSTS-2020 and WHMIS certifications
  • Physically capable of demanding job duties
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Must have reliable transportation to Airdrie site
