Responsibilities
As an Overlay Operator, you'll contribute to industrial maintenance by operating specialized equipment and supporting surface treatment processes.
- Operate overlay machine to apply surface coatings and materials
- Perform welding and/or sandblasting tasks as required
- Support general labour duties across the jobsite
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper operating conditions
- Follow all safety guidelines and site procedures
- Complete physical work tasks in various environmental conditions
Requirements
Applicants must have hands-on labour and machine operating experience, safety certifications, and physical fitness for site work.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a labourer
- Experience operating overlay machine, welding, or sandblasting
- Valid CSTS-2020 and WHMIS certifications
- Physically capable of demanding job duties
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Must have reliable transportation to Airdrie site
