The Mine Technician supports planning and technical operations by conducting inspections, data collection, and assisting with engineering documentation.
- Conduct underground inspections for infrastructure, drill locations, and QA/QC tasks.
- Prepare vent survey packages and assist with mapping and planning packages.
- Support drill and blast engineers with data collection, CMS scans, and sign-offs.
- Assist with Geotech, Glacier, and ventilation data entry and analysis.
- Act as SAP contact for scheduling and purchasing entries.
Requirements
Candidates should bring relevant technical education and underground experience.
- Mine Technician qualification or equivalent.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Deswik, Vulcan, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Federal and Provincial mining safety regulations.
- Ability to work in remote conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and complete 12-hour shifts in close quarters and extreme weather.
