This residential gold and silver producing site offers a work schedule of either 7/7 or 14/14 shifts with both day and night rotations. The Mill Operator 1 is responsible for safe, efficient operation and monitoring of mill processing circuits to meet production targets.
- Operate and monitor processing circuits such as crushing, grinding, leaching/elution, reagents, detox, and tailings.
- Inspect circuits regularly to identify and correct issues promptly.
- Maintain safety by reporting unsafe conditions to the Mill Supervisor immediately.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of all mill circuits through training and hands-on experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Applicants must have milling experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work flexible shifts safely and collaboratively.
- 3+ years experience in milling environment.
- Experience with grinding, leaching, reagents, CND, tailings, crushing, elution, and control room operations.
- Knowledge of Delta V or similar control systems and troubleshooting skills.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license with personal transportation.
- Flexibility in job tasks and responsibilities.
- Proficient with computer-based equipment.
- Ability to work safely independently and in teams.
- Able to work 14-day, 12-hour shifts including day and night rotations.
