Maintenance Planner - Greenstone Gold Mines - 14 Day In/Out Rotation - Ontario

Greenstone Mine is hiring a Mine Maintenance Planner to join its operations in Geraldton, Ontario. Reporting to the Senior Mine Maintenance Planner, this position is responsible for developing, adjusting, and communicating maintenance plans in alignment with operational goals and safety policies. The role involves using SAP CMMS for scheduling, resource planning, and asset health monitoring. Operating on a 14-day in/out rotation, the planner works closely with execution teams and stakeholders to ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance for mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

The Mine Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating and adjusting maintenance plans to support mine operations. Duties include:

  • Developing and adjusting maintenance plans in compliance with safety policies
  • Participating in control meetings and updating weekly/monthly schedules
  • Managing breakdowns, found work backlog, and corrective actions
  • Coordinating resources, trades, and parts using SAP CMMS
  • Tracking asset health, component history, and maintenance benchmarks
  • Supporting budget planning and inventory recommendations
  • Conducting worksite visits and updating project timelines
  • Hosting pre-shutdown and post-review meetings
  • Ensuring clear communication of plan updates to all stakeholders

Requirements

Candidates must be experienced in maintenance planning and coordination. Key requirements include:

  • Trade Certification or equivalent maintenance experience
  • 3+ years' experience with maintenance systems and methods
  • Experience with mobile equipment maintenance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Microsoft Project
  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS is an asset
  • Industrial or mine site experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Comfort with heights and repetitive tasks
