Journeyperson Ironworker - Oilfield Construction Maintenance - Monday to Thursday

FLINT is currently hiring a Journeyperson Ironworker for a temporary industrial project located in Carseland, Alberta, approximately 35 km east of Calgary. Starting July 28, 2025, the role offers a Monday to Thursday schedule with 10-hour days and benefits eligibility after 300 hours worked. This position is ideal for local candidates, as it does not include camp accommodations or travel allowances. Qualified applicants must have at least three years of industrial experience and hold a valid Journeyperson Ironworker certification. Responsibilities

Ironworkers will contribute to structural and industrial construction projects, ensuring safe and accurate assembly and installation of components.

  • Perform ironwork tasks in an industrial construction setting
  • Install, align, and secure steel and metal structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and procedures
  • Work in various environmental conditions and at heights
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements

Applicants must be certified and experienced in industrial ironwork and meet safety and physical demands of the role.

  • Minimum 3 years' industrial experience
  • Valid Journeyperson Ironworker certification
  • CSTS-2020 and Fall Protection certification
  • Physically fit to handle demanding site conditions
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Reliable personal transportation to the Carseland site
