Responsibilities
The Journeyman HVAC Technician will perform inspections, maintenance, and installations for HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with safety and code requirements.
- Conduct timely inspections and report equipment defects
- Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Assist in planning and completing maintenance schedules
- Support project estimation, planning, and execution
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and code
- Meet environmental protection and safety standards
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
Applicants must hold valid certifications and demonstrate strong technical and teamwork skills to succeed in this role.
- Red Seal Journeyman HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic
- Class B Gas Ticket
- Valid certifications in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, Elevated Work Platform
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean abstract
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Willingness to travel and work in a 24/7 operation
