FLINT is currently hiring a Journeyperson Electrician for a temporary industrial project in Calgary, Alberta, beginning in May 2025. This position offers a flexible work schedule with 8 to 10-hour days and eligibility for benefits after 300 hours worked. Best suited for local applicants, this opportunity does not include camp accommodations, travel, or living-out allowance. Candidates must have at least three years of industrial experience, a valid journeyperson electrician certificate, and up-to-date safety certifications. Responsibilities

In this role, you will help power and maintain essential infrastructure through safe and precise electrical work in an industrial setting.

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical codes
  • Perform wiring, cable pulls, and panel work
  • Work safely in compliance with jobsite protocols
  • Collaborate with site teams and respond to evolving work tasks
  • Handle physical job tasks in various site conditions

Requirements

Applicants must meet technical, safety, and physical qualifications to perform in a demanding industrial environment.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial electrical setting
  • Valid Journeyperson Electrician certificate/ticket
  • H2S Alive, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Protection, and First Aid certifications
  • Physically capable of demanding site tasks
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Valid driver's license with clean 5-year abstract (under 6 demerits)
  • Reliable transportation to job site
