Greenstone Mine is seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Electrician for its Geraldton, Ontario site. Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy mining equipment. This position requires a Red Seal Journeyperson Electrical certification and experience in heavy equipment maintenance, ideally with Komatsu, CAT, or Epiroc machinery. The role operates in a remote mining environment and demands strong safety awareness and the ability to work independently.

The Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Electrician will perform a range of electrical maintenance and repair duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assemblies, preventative maintenance, and equipment overhauls
- Diagnosing malfunctions using testing equipment
- Recommending repair solutions and methods for improvement
- Interpreting work orders and technical manuals
- Completing job-specific reports and documentation

Requirements
This role requires technical certification and hands-on experience in heavy equipment electrical maintenance. Requirements include:
- Red Seal Journeyperson Electrical certification
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with Komatsu, CAT, and Epiroc equipment is an asset
- Background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Mine site or mining company experience preferred
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently and perform repetitive or physically demanding tasks (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfort working at heights and in remote locations
- Adaptability to inclusive and challenging work environments
