The Janitor is responsible for ensuring clean and sanitary conditions throughout the office and site facilities. Duties include:
- Maintaining high sanitation standards
- Ensuring proper order and care of janitorial equipment
- Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways
- Clearing indoor and outdoor walkways of snow and mud
- Sweeping, scrubbing, washing, and polishing floors
- Dusting furniture and cleaning walls, ceilings, and woodwork
- Emptying waste baskets and transporting trash
- Replenishing bathroom supplies
- Performing additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
- At least 1 year of janitorial experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently or under supervision
- Experience with commercial laundry (asset)
