The remediation project is managed by Parsons Inc. on behalf of the Government of Canada, with oversight and input from the Kaska Nations, the Government of Yukon, and local stakeholders. This multi-decade initiative is focused on protecting human health, restoring the environment, and maximizing economic opportunities for Yukon communities. The Faro Mine Remediation Project (FMRP) offers a wide range of employment opportunities, including roles in environmental monitoring, site maintenance, heavy equipment operation, water treatment, and construction.
