Housekeeper - Remote Oilfield Camps - Accommodations - 20x10 Rotations
Horizon North is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join its world-class camp facility. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas. The position follows a 20 days on/10 days off rotation, providing extended health and dental benefits. While flights are not provided, transportation to the site is arranged from a pickup point in Ft McMurray. Housekeepers will be responsible for maintaining room cleanliness, handling laundry, and assisting with inventory while working under the supervision of the Head Housekeeper.

The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and common areas in the camp facility.
- Clean and maintain 30 rooms per day, depending on occupancy.
- Provide full housekeeping services in guest rooms and hallways.
- Make beds and change linens weekly or as needed.
- Vacuum and dust room furniture, blinds, and hallways.
- Sanitize bathrooms, windows, and mirrors.
- Empty trash and recycling from all sleeping areas.
- Wash, fold, and manage towels, linens, and bedding.
- Load and unload laundry and linen supplies.
- Assist with inventory and report shortages to the Lodge Manager.
Requirements
Applicants should have prior housekeeping experience and knowledge of standard cleaning procedures.
- Minimum 6 months of janitorial and/or housekeeping experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
- Previous experience in a remote lodge, hotel, or institutional setting is an asset.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Must achieve 80% or higher on the WHMIS test.
