Housekeeper - Remote Mining Camps British Columbia - FIFO - 3/3
MATRIX is seeking a motivated and experienced Camp Housekeeper to support cleaning and sanitization duties at Bronson Camp, a remote exploration site north of Terrace, BC. Starting mid-May 2025, this role offers $295/day for 12-hour shifts on a 3 weeks in, 3 weeks out rotation. Camp accommodations and travel are provided. Priority hiring consideration is given to members of the Tahltan Nation. The position requires at least two seasons of prior camp housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in physically demanding conditions.

Responsibilities
Camp Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across camp facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all residents.
- Follow safe work practices and report incidents immediately
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings
- Sanitize surfaces, equipment, and small wares per Food Safety Plan
- Wash and replace bed linens as needed
- Clean and sanitize dry areas and communal spaces
- Maintain cleanliness in TV rooms, dining areas, laundry rooms, and washrooms
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness across all assigned areas
Requirements
Applicants must bring previous camp housekeeping experience, strong physical stamina, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Minimum two (2) years/seasons of remote camp housekeeping experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically capable of lifting 25+ lbs and performing manual labor
- Capable of walking, standing, and working 10-12 hour shifts
- OFA Level 1 preferred but not required
- Availability for 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotational schedule
