Responsibilities
The Housekeeper ensures a clean and safe environment through regular custodial duties supporting the Faro Mine Remediation Project facilities and accommodations.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors as required.
- Remove trash, refuse, and debris from facilities and surrounding areas.
- Dust and polish equipment, furniture, fixtures, and metal surfaces.
- Manage cleaning supplies and maintain adequate inventory.
- Attend health and safety and chemical handling training.
- Participate in first aid training.
- Perform other duties to support facility cleanliness and maintenance.
Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate reliability and experience in custodial roles with an understanding of safe work practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant housekeeping experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Proven understanding of safe work practices and risk mitigation.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
