Nuna Group of Companies is currently hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for its Hope Bay project in Nunavut, operating on a 3x3 fly-in/fly-out rotation. Equipment Operators will safely operate heavy equipment in support of earthworks and mining operations at the remote Hope Bay site.
- Perform pre-trip safety inspections and complete Field Level Hazard Assessments
- Maintain equipment condition and report maintenance needs
- Document production and other daily reports
- Communicate professionally with team members
- Operate multiple types of heavy equipment (Dozer, Excavator, Loader, Grader)
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures
Requirements
Candidates must bring strong heavy equipment operating experience in remote and rotational work environments.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating Dozer, Excavator, Loader, and Grader
- Experience in mining, road building, or industrial sites
- Comfortable working outdoors in Arctic conditions
- Familiarity with remote camp life and rotational schedules
- Strong safety mindset and ability to integrate HS&E standards into daily work

The Hope Bay Gold Project is a high-potential exploration and development initiative owned by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, located in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut, Canada. Spanning approximately 80 kilometers of the Hope Bay greenstone belt, the project includes multiple gold deposits, with primary activity focused on the Madrid, Boston, and Doris zones. Agnico Eagle acquired the project in early 2021 and has since shifted its strategy toward advancing exploration, geological understanding, and long-term development planning. The Hope Bay site currently supports significant drilling activity and geotechnical work, aiming to expand the gold resource base and optimize future production pathways.
