Haulage Miner - Rainy River Mine - 7/7 12 Hour Days And Nights
New Gold Inc. is seeking a Haulage Miner for a 6-month temporary position at its Rainy River Mine in Emo, Ontario. This is an entry-level role with no prior experience required, offering comprehensive on-the-job training. The Haulage Miner will support mine operations by safely operating haul trucks and other mining equipment on a 7/7 rotation. Travel allowance is provided. Preference is given to residents of the Rainy River District. Camp accommodations are not included.

Responsibilities
As a Haulage Miner, the successful applicant will perform surface mining support duties. Responsibilities include:
- Operate haul trucks and heavy mining equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine equipment maintenance
- Transport ore, overburden, and waste material
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and operators
- Log equipment usage and report maintenance needs
- Follow all site safety policies and procedures
Requirements
While no experience is required, the following are considered assets:
- 1 year of machinery operation experience (asset)
- Heavy Equipment Operator training (desirable)
- Ontario Common Core training (asset)

- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and SOPs
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in a seated position for long periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
