The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating haul and articulating trucks to support mining operations at Fort McMurray.
- Operate haul trucks and articulating trucks with safety and precision.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections.
- Follow all safety protocols in a safety-sensitive environment.
- Train on new equipment as required.
- Communicate effectively with the site team.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following for this safety-sensitive role:
- Minimum 2000 hours operating haul or articulating trucks in open pit mining.
- Mandatory safety ticket: CSO.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks.
- Clean 3-year driver's abstract (specific requirements not provided).
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Drug and alcohol testing required.
