The Haul Truck Operator will safely operate haul and articulating trucks to support open pit mining operations.
- Operate haul trucks and articulating trucks with safety and efficiency.
- Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Follow site safety procedures and protocols.
- Train on new equipment as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria for this safety-sensitive position:
- Minimum 2000 hours operating haul trucks or articulating trucks in open pit mining.
- Mandatory safety ticket: CSO.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks.
- Clean 3-year driver's abstract with under 9 demerits.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Willingness to train on new equipment.
- Completion of drug and alcohol testing.
